Introduction
The Safecom SWAMRU-54108 multifunctional wireless router
adds considerable power and flexibility to your network.
Five products in one, it combines an ADSL modem, router,
10/100 LAN switch, 802.11g+ access point, and SPI True
Firewall. The product gives you continuous connectivity to
your network resources and the Internet, and allows you to
share your broadband access with all of your networked
computers wireless or with wires using Ethernet cables.
The SWAMRU-54108 provides high speed wireless LAN up to
125Mbps in turbo mode (802.11g+). An integrated switch lets
you directly connect four computers or any combination of
four computers, access points or PlayStation2 (PS2). The
Safecom ADSL multifunctional Router is specifically designed
for Small Office and Home Office needs. It provides a
complete SOHO solution for Internet surfing, and is easy to
configure and operate even by a non-technical user.
The ADSL Modem function gives you a blazing fast connection
to the Internet, far faster than a dial-up, and without
tying up your phone line. The Router function lets share
your high-speed Internet connection with all the PCs in the
SOHO. With this product share printer and resources by
connecting your computers to the Router via the built-in 4
port 10/100 Ethernet Switch. Attach four wired PCs directly
or connect more hubs and switches to create as big network
as you need. Or use the built-in Access Point to connect
wireless devices to your network without running cables
through the building.
The embedded print server allows all of the network
computers to share one printer. The product provides high
speed wireless LAN up to 125Mbps in turbo mode (802.011g+).
This product supports all the wireless security standards
including WEP, WPA and 802.1x, which protects your wireless
data and privacy.
The Gateway also has a powerful SPI firewall and DMZ host
features, to protect your network with business-class
security against intruders and most known Internet attacks.
The Gateway supports 40 hardware VPN (Virtual Private
Network) tunnels and pass-through features. It has three VPN
servers, IPSEC (Dynamic VPN), PPTP, and L2TP. With VPN
pass-through it makes it safe to connect to your business
network from home or office. Configuration is easy with the
web based user interface.
The gateway has all the network support features like DNS
(Domain Name System) and DDNS(Dynamic DNS), URL Blocking ,
MAC Address Filtering and UPnP. The multifunctional Gateway
is compatible with all major Operating Systems and is fully
compliance with FCC and CE regulations.
