Introduction
The Safecom SART2-4112 is an ADSL Router designed for the
small office and home. With the latest ADSL technology
ADSL2/ADSL2+ and advanced router functions, this device
gives your business and home a convenient and cost-effective
way to install a secure, fast network with bottleneck-free
link to the outside world. The device combines routing and
bridging functions in a single device for high-quality, and
high-speed access to Internet. It connects to PC with 10 /
100Based-T Ethernet interface or USB interface (Optional),
which provides the flexibility and various applications. The
router provides complete security features like DMZ host
configuration, DMZ redirect unknown packets to a dedicated
server/PC behind the router, enabling a client (such as a
Web server) to fully expose it to the Internet and ensure
complete Internet application compatibility. This allows you
to set up web sites and e-commerce business from your office
while maintaining protection for the rest of your office
LAN. The router provides NAT protection for your office and
home users from any Internet intruders and hackers, plus VPN
pass-through. With its built-in SPI firewall protection;
this router will also help to prevent unwanted Internet
intruders from accessing your private network.The VPN
pass-through function makes it safe to connect to your
business network from home or office. This full-featured
product is specifically designed to connect to the Internet
and directly connect to your local area network via high
speed 10/100 Mbps Ethernet. The router has all the network
support features like QoS bandwidth management, UPnP, Proxy
enabled/disabled and MAC filter control. The product can
easily configure through web-based user interface. The
SART2-4112 is fully compliant with the FCC and CE
regulations.
